this is an excellent satin matte lipstick..........smooth formula.....nice satin matte finish...............stays put...........doesnt bleed......doesnt crumble or flake on ur lips.................and even tho the color choice is small its a nice range of colors..............please dont discontinue this formula................i would love to see some more colors too :):) and great price too :):)

Creamy, Smooth Colour with a Subtle Sheen

This is a beautiful satin formula, long-wearing yet somewhat creamy; and a deep cherry colour as its name implies. I love it. It can be paired with a bit of gloss if desired, but I usually don't. Cherrywood is a wonderful colour and makes me want to try a couple of others in this semi-matte line. It can feel a bit dry at times, so be sure to hydrate your lips well. But it looks smooth and creamy on application and throughout the day.

I received the Satin Lipcolour in Rose Dutchess as a GWP. The color is really lovely -- and suitable for most complexions.
The lipstick is really more matte than satin. It could have a bit more moiture in it. It goes on easy, and stays on a few hours. But it is a bit dry looking, so you may want to add a gloss over it.
I am very happy with the lipstick, but at the price, I'm not sure I would buy it again.

Intense color that really stays

I'm using Pink Cocoa which is surprisingly natural looking - darker than I usually go for, but with plum/spice on my eyes and the rose quad plus the creme cheek tri-color in the Polished collection, it really balances out. The color lasts through lunch and by then looks like a pretty stain - at which point I usually like to apply lip balm or Laura's lilac gloss and leave it. I do love the semi-matte look and feel of this lipstick and I like it both ways - intense as when it's freshly applied, and when it looks like a stain. Two in one!

love this lipstick. i don't have to reapply constantly, yet my lips don't feel dried out. LM lipsticks are a little expensive, but my lips are always happy when i have one on! also, the colors for the matte aren't your typical matte colors - they actually look good w/ my skin.

but tends to dry my lips out a bit. The matte-ness of the lipstick helps it stay on longer, but I find I use it more as a stain, blot it and put a gloss on top.

I don't like shiny lipsticks. I prefer gloss. But this is the perfect matte lipstick, it's creamy and leaves the lips hydrated. My tip: apply the cherrywood shade with your fingers.. it'll give your lips the "bitten" effect!!
