This is one of my favorite formulas for lipstick. It is smooth and easy to apply. It moisturizes my lips and is so comfortable to wear. I always get compliments when I wear my favorite shade -Baby Lips.

I have now purchased maybe 8 tubes of Sexy Lips sheer lip colour, since buying my first at Harrod's in London in 2003 - I buy lipsticks as souveniers when I travel - and 6 have been wonderful. I love the not- overwhelming sangria red shine that lasts, it's the perfect color! But 2 of the tubes are a blazing NOT-sheer color red. I wonder how this happens?

I have Bare Lips and Baby Lips and really use them a lot for neutral shades. This particular LM formula is non-drying but long-lasting. Very nice colors to choose from and enjoyable to wear.
I would definitely recommend this lipstick!

First bought the sheers as a palette..fell in love with all of the colors, and have since used them as my lipstick of choice. All of the colors are complimentary to my, and probably all, skin tones.

This is my favorite lip product ever! I get so many compliments on my lips. This lipstick plumps, smooths and slides on easily. Second to none, dont miss out on getting fuller, livelier, delicious looking lips. I stock up on my Laura Mercier lip products. One for the car, one for my purse, and one for home. I am never without it. I love that one application lasts me until I remove it!

I love to wear this sheer lip colour to build on top of my lip liner. It gives me the perfect coverage so that I don't feel I have too much lipstick on. Also, I like that I can build on top of my lipliners and creat differnt color hues without being overly done!

Laura Mercier's Sheer Lip Color is the loveliest lipstick I have ever worn! It is so moisturizing, yet not greasy, and it stays put for a long time. I own Baby Lips, Tender Lips, and just purchased Sexy Lips, which is a beautiful, very "wearable" red color...perfect for daytime or evening. The Sheer Lipsticks can also be made to look like a lip "stain" if you put the lipstick on and blot well with a tissue. The effect is your natural lip, but with this gorgeous, lovely color, like you just went jogging (but didn't!). They can be worn with or without a lip pencil, depending on the look you want. My title says most of it; I tried 3 colors and find Tea Rose to be more sheer than Baby Lips, Nude Lips, and Tender Lips. Plus I don't like the vanilla scent in this product (bothers me more than in Lip Glace for some reason). I'll be sticking to the Stickgloss for sheer lip coverage and Tea Rose for the best nude shade.

I started using this lipstick many years ago and have not found anything that even compares. I can wear it alone without any other make up because of how sheer it is. The sexy lips is great for going out. The healthy lips I wear everywhere. Its great for those who don't really want to look made up, but just want to look good!! It is also very comfortable to wear. I keep a stick in my purse, in my bathroom, in my bedroom dresser as I never want to be without it. It is worth the price because I never need to buy any other lipstick that I usually end up not using anyway. Great value.

I have this in "Bare Lips", which is a nice, sheer dusty rose (great for a natural look or daytime/work lipcolor). The texture is smooth and buttery, and it leaves your lips nice and moisturized. There is a slight caramel taste, which I find pleasing. I also notice the slightest tingling sensation on my lips after I apply it (nothing drastic or uncomfortable), which is probably where the "plumping" of the lips comes in. All in all, a great lipstick!

I am a skeptic when I see a new lip product. Yea it looks great in the tube get it home an you look like a brown lipped zombie. Not a cute look. The first tube I bought was "baby lip". Never one to really think about the names, I tried it on and was shocked. My lips DID looks like a babies lip. Deepened the color of my lips and made the look great but not "made up".

I love the concept of this sheer lip color - sheer shades to enhance natural lip color. But I found that as the day wears on, the undertone stains the lips and not necessarily with the desirable tones of the color. Maybe in the future I'll try other shades and won't have the same issue, but I also found it a bit drying if it isn't refreshed enough.

I'd worn Bare Lips for years and then tried Tender Lips a couple of years ago. It has been my absolute favorite lipstick since then. Great texture and color, and more intensity than you normally get from a sheer lipstick, but without overdoing it. I am in love with this lipstick and that shade in particular!!
