I got this product thinking it was going to be like any exfoliator available at the drugstore, but it's not. I couldn't believe the dramatic difference it made on my skin the first time- and yet it was so gentle. I use this product about once a week or whenever I notice that my makeup isn't laying as smooth as it could be on my skin. Even though I feel like I am using a generous amount each time, I've barely made a dent in the tube. I also use this product on my neck and chest and sometimes on my upper arms if I'm going to be wearing a sleeveless dress. I'm also a big fan of the oil free foaming cleanser, hydrating mist, and oil free primer. My skin looks better now than it did 10 years ago.

I have combination skin which needs proper exfoliation through both the oilier t-zone and drier cheek to chin area. This polish thoroughly yet gently cleanses the entire face, washing away debris and sloughing off skin. My face is left comfortably clean and perfectly prepared for any following treatments.

Give your face a good massage with it in the shower and you will feel how incredibly smooth your face is after the shower. Plus it smells really nice and relaxing. I use it a few times a week.

I have used many exfoliating scrubs in the past and they were much too harsh, this one is just right. I use it a few times a week and love the results, especially in the morning before applying makeup. It leaves my face soft and smooth, I have told my friends to try it too!

I have sensitive skin prone to breakouts and no problems using this product. It is not too abrasive yet give good exfoliation. I usually mix it w/liquid facial cleanser to create a bit of a foam when washing w/it. Feel it gets my skin really clean.

I love the Laura Mercier Face Polish. I received a small size of it in a store special and tried it with great results. The Face Polish made my skin feel smooth and soft and it helped keep any breakouts at bay. Also, my skin tends to react negatively to really abrasive products but it loved the gentle beads that exfoliated my skin without causing any irritation. I have combination/oily skin that needs to be controlled and the Face Polish proved to be an excellent product to do help me do this. I highly recommend Laura Mercier's Face Polish.

All of the rave reviews were written in 2009. Perhaps the formulation has changed-I found this product difficult to wash off and then after still feeling gritty, my face feels dry.

I recently got this a trial size sample from my local LM counter and I am hooked. (like I need another reason to be hooked to her products) Gentle enough to use daily and my skin is so soft after using. Its more effective than typical scrubs I've tried in the past. Feels like soft sand over your face, but again very gentle. I will be buying this in the future!!

So, I only recently (well, three weeks now) starting using this Polish .... and I absolutely LOVE IT. It was SO effective that I started using it for exfoliating my arms too. MIRACLES HAPPENED. (Ok, a bit dramatic, but still true). It is GENTLE, it is of great proportion of exfoliating beads to cleaner, and it smells good! (Do you remember what Mr. Bubble Bubblebath smells like? It smells JUST like that!). I thought that the ONLY downfall is that the bottle isn't big enough (because I am now using it on my chest/arms too) but a little goes a long way! So, buy it ... you will NOT regret it.

As soon as i opened this and began using it I knew my face had changed forever. The small grains (almost like sand) did wonders and made my skin feel soft. I've used drugstore brand exfoliators before and the beads are larger and scratchier and harder to rinse off. These tiny beads are simply perfect. I have been using it for a week and already my skin has never been better. Highly recommended.

I received a sample with an order, but I was afraid to try the Face polish, because my skin is usually too sensitive to use scrubs. Wow, was I wrong! When I ran out of another face wash, I decided to give this a try...it worked fantastically. Effective exfoliation, yet not harsh at all. I'm amazed. Especially with my allergies and sensitive skin.

I've used a lot of scrubs over the years, some good, some bad. This is excellent. I love the texture- more scrub than "carrier", not too rough but not too gentle, either. It made my face feel like a baby's- just incredibly soft and smooth. I use it every morning and my makeup goes on so much more smoothly compared to just washing with cleanser. No breakouts. No drying my skin out. Just great exfoliation that keeps me looking young and beautiful.

After trying countless products that claim to be effective and worth your while I was always disappointed in the end. I bought this after a couple of friends recommended it to me and i am hooked!!! It is EXTREMELY gentle and i actually can use it twice a day, which is saying something since my skin is very sensitive. I have mild acne and scarring and ever since using it, it has COMPLETELY cleared up! This stuff is worth every penny!

I adore this product, it's gentle but so effective, my skin actually shines afterwards and then moisturizer and makeup sits so much better. I have one in my bathroom and one in my gym back, it's expensive but SO worth it!!

i am a scrub lover, but am picky when it comes to what they put in it. This one is very finely milled-you don't feel like you are hurting your face with big sharp pieces of whoknowswhat. This has extremely fine granulesp-hence the word "polish"-so it very gently exfoliates without leaving tiny abrasions. it feels ans smells lovely too!

I use this typically once a week. I'm constantly complimented for having baby smooth skin from even strangers. Very gentle for my sensitive skin. A little bit more than a pea size works for my face and neck. I have religiously used this for 7 years, can't live without it!
