I was excited to try a new blush formula, so instead of the typical powder blush, I asked to try the cream kind. I ended up buying oleander, which intimidated me at first, because it looks really bright pink in the compact case. The LM makeup artist taught me to just use it on the apples of my cheeks and blend it in with my fingers to my liking. It stays on pretty well throughout the day, but I do reapply once in awhile. It's easy to use and don't be scared of the brightness of the color! It really blends well and gives a natural looking flush.

I have Oleander and Canyon, and I find them natural looking and long wearing. My color tends to fade as the day wears on, and these creme cheek colors last longer than powders. I use them every day.

This blush (in Blaze) was my second ever Laura Mercier product purchase, and I have not regretted it one bit. I do not like a heavy makeup look, so I use this blush in conjunction with Laura's Tinted Moisturiser to give a finished, healthy glow.
It is initially translucent, as other reviews have said, but as with many other LM products, the colour can be built up gradually. I think this is preferable, it makes application mistake free. (Who wants to go out with too much blush on!?) It's easy to transition from a daytime glow to a more dramatic evening look with a little extra
layer of blush.

Blaze is a great neutral colour. I would reccomend it to anyone.

a perfect way to blush

I am a fan of the "dewy" look. and this blush is perfect for that.
I use creme cheek colour everytime I use Laura's tinted moisturizers to add color to the face. They go perfectly well together to create an au naturel look.
I also layer in creme cheek colour after putting on any of LM's liquid or creme foundation. With my fingers or with the creme cheek brush I dab some product to the apples of the cheek. To contour I only use Praline because of it's neutrality. I then set the entire face with setting powder.
To further enhance the color of the creme blush, I add on powder blush to create a dimension of color on the face.
In the future, I hope Laura comes out with more warmer colors that are perfect for contouring, especially for darker skin tones.

a friend told me that creme cheeck color was the best and it is! it stays on all day and just keeps lookign great - soft, subtle yet very much there. i cannot believe i netried thsi before!

I adore cream blush and use it on all my brides-gives that juicy, dewy look to the cheek. I use all of these shades regularly and they are very long wearing. I would love to see more colors-especially a raiain-y pink/plummy/brown.

The only reason that I didn't give this product 5 stars is that I'd like a little bit more payoff to the skin. Wish it wasn't so sheer.
I have dry skin so must make sure my skin is moisturized properly before applying makeup. FYI - Primer also helps to apply first as it provides a "slick" surface before adding any further creme products to my skin.
Overall, really like this product as I'm always on the search for the best cream cheek/eye products on the market.

I am addicted to this blush in Blaze and have been since a Laura Mercier artist used it on my about 6 years ago when I was introduced to the line. It has never let me down, tried and true and a part of my every day beauty routine. Great application and a beautiful, multi-purpose color.

Ths is definitely translucent. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to put on a lot of make up but wants some natural color.
It's also so easy to apply and control.
