I love Laura Mercier's product. However, i hate to say that this did not work for me. I have acne/sensitive skin and this does not spread out smoothly comparing to the oilfree and regular foundation primer. But it might be my skin problem.

This is a review for Laura Mercier's Mineral Foundation primer that comes in a tube. I used and tried her original Foundation Primer but couldn't stand the horrible smell and how shiny it made my face all day. This primer is completely different. It matify's and smooths my face leaving it perfectly prepped for Laura Mercier's foundation powder. It works wonders leaving me matte and fresh all day long with absolutely no shine which I hate. Also, there's no disgusting smell and it absorbs and sets within seconds. I love this primer and will definitely continue to purchase.

This primer does leave a nice matte finish on your skin but for my 50 year old skin it was just too matte. I have oily skin so it was odd that I felt I needed more moisture. So I am saving this for the hot summer when it may work better for me. I have tried the regular primer and it was too oily for me (or it felt that way) so for now I am using a different brand. This may be one of the first Laura Mercier products that I haven't loved and have lots of LM in my makeup bag.

This product makes the mineral check powder & mineral foundation simply glide on and stay beautiful until you take it off. I've tried the mineral primer in powder form, but it left my face looking dry, which didn't compliment the mineral makeup. Feels great on the skin.

This product has iniciated me in the world of primers and im very happy with it...i would definitly buy this again, i've tried a sample of the oil free version but didnt work good on me, i prefer the mineral one. I use it with LM mineral powder foundation and it works great.

I don't like this primer for myself for one reason: it controls oil too well! I actually prefer the mineral powder since for me, it results in a more natural look than this primer. However, if you have oily skin, you will probably love this. I used it for a week under mineral powder foundation with no break outs, and it did help my makeup last all day. As mentioned earlier, I thought it made my skin look too flat and matte, and my skin felt extra dry all day. I will try it again in the summer when my skin is oilier.

I have been a long time user of mineral makeups and Laura Mercier's is the best out there! I completely recommend the mineral foundation primer to have your look last longer and help your mineral set better. I have combination skin so I use the mineral primer during the warmer months for oil control and the liquid primer with colder weather to prevent dry skin. This liquid to powder is great because it doesn't clog pores and cause break outs. For anyone debating on whether or not to try primer, YES you will definately notice a huge difference in smoothness of application and length of your look. I see some concerns with the value, just remember that a small bit goes long way. It is a primer not your foundation, your mineral makeup will give you the coverage you need.

While I absolutely love the mineral foundation, the mineral foundation primer is amazing! When I use it, my makeup stays fresh looking all day and my skin appears smoother and brighter. A little bit is all I need and a tube lasts a long time!

I have oily and sensitive skin. It has been quite cumbersome finding a primer that works for me. Luckily, I've found it in Laura's Mineral Primer! I absolutely love the gel-to-powder formula. It leaves a silky, smooth finish that lasts all day. This is a definite must-have for me.

I used Foundation Primer, then Oil-Free Foundation Primer, then I stopped for awhile.
Until Mineral Foundation Primer came along - you've got to try it.
It is cooling, perfect for sensitive skin/folks with rosacea, and is the perfect product to prime your skin for foundation/tinted moisturizer.

This product is the best primer for mineral powder. It is easy to spread over your face so that you know the product is all over. It dries nicely and works as a great base for mineral powder spf15.
