I've only been using the pressed mineral powder for one week now and I am incredibly happy with it. I have rosacea and this product really provides great coverage. It evens my skin out and creates as close to a "flawless complexion" that I will ever see on my face!! I'm thrilled that I can find it at Sephora. I am wondering if anyone out there who has the same skin condition as me #rosacea: redness, bumps# that finds the loose powder to be "better" than the pressed? Just wondering...

I have looked for decades for the right shade of cool, fair makeup that would match my skintones, cover rosacea, and would somehow look natural. The Tender Rose is just perfect and offers the convenience of pressed powder too. Minerals too. When I found this, I couldn't believe my good luck. Thank you and please make it forever!

During most of the year I prefer using liquid foundation and powder, but when summer comes around this is definitely my preference. I am afflicted with combination skin: dry patches, flakiness, and the dreadful oily t-zone. However, in the summer it's usually so humid where I live that most of my dryness isn't an issue. That's why I prefer Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder SPF 15 in the summer: it doesn't add oil like my liquid foundation does and it helps absorb any extra oil that my skin naturally produces. This product lives up to its water-resistant claims, which is one reason I prefer it to any other brands. The humidity here doesn't take a toll on this product at all, so I rarely need to make touch-ups throughout the day when using it. The only exception to that is when I go to the beach. The water (ocean or pool) does take away some of the makeup, but not enough so that I'm scared to get my face in any water. All I have to do is dry off and add a little more powder when my face gets very wet. The coverage is excellent - you get medium coverage right out of the package and it's buildable to full coverage. It feels light on the skin, but don't let that fool you! You don't need much powder to get good results, so use with a light hand. I love that it takes so little powder to even out my skin, because this makes the price very worth it! One package usually lasts an entire season for me, even with everyday use. The color selection is well-edited! I found the perfect shade easily. Thank you Laura Mercier for making such an all-around great product!!

I have been using Laura Mercier's Mineral Powder for about 3-years and I absolutely LOVE this product! I have tried other mineral powders out there and they don't even come close to LM!! The coverage is beautiful, natural and not cakey at all. This mineral powder truly does make you look "flawless". My husband always compliments me on how beautiful my skin looks. It gives my skin a soft and natural "glow", but not shimmery, which I love. I have oily/combination skin and I have never had any breakouts or irritation with this product whatsoever. It is very long-wearing, water-resistant. and stands up to the heat & humidity of South Florida! I love the loose mineral powder as well however, the compact is so quick and easy. I just use a brush and buff it over my face and it covers any redness or imperfections on my skin, and I am "flawless" in less that one minute! I love this product so much that I just can't use anything else!

I bought this product because i thought it would be great to carry it around in my purse so i can do some touch ups. This gives a good coverage and makes your skin feel so smooth and silky! It does not look cakey and it does not set into your lines!

I like the convenience of the pressed powder, but it doesn't have the luster of the loose powder. I was glad to read that others had the same experience because I thought it was my imagination. I will use this for touch up from now on.

I bought this to try something new and people at work actually asked if I was sick! It made me look like I had a white porcelain mask. When I asked about it at the counter, I was told to try applying with a brush vs. the makeup sponge that comes with it. I now use it more as a finishing powder than a foundation. Basically, I'm salvaging my purchase. Unless you find a color that works for you, I wouldn't recommend this one. The powder creates a less than natural look. If you are fair - even VERY fair - avoid the lightest shade.

I love this pressed powder, but I noticed right away that it does not provide the same 'glow' as the loose mineral powder. I suggest following Laura's 'insider tip' and using the loose mineral powder as your main foundation and this pressed mineral powder for touch-ups throughout the day. I do use the pressed when I am traveling for convenience. Like some other reviewers, I feel like the pressed dries my skin out more than the loose. All in all, it's a great pressed powder and as always, the shades are right on!

I live for LM's loose version of this and will stick with that for my main makeup of choice. However, this is a bonus to take with you. The portability is perfect! I do find that it's slightly less creamy than the loose as well as mattifying, hence it can magnify dryness, but just moisturize and you'll be fine. Other than that, the color Rich Vanilla is dead on perfect match for me. These colors tend to be slightly lighter than the loose formula, but still are gorgeous! Now I'm waiting for a pressed mineral finishing powder!

This is by far the best powder foundation I have used. It goes on so smoothly, looks so natural, and covers my redness incredibly well! It doesn't look cakey like some powder foundations! This is my new, #1, "can't be without" it makeup item!

Ths is a perfect powder for sensitive skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and have treid multiple powders. This is perfect! It is super light not oily and a perfect size for travel. Don't leave home without it:)
