I really adore this stuff.
I picked this up after christmas (yay gift cards!) when I realized my bisque tinted moisturizer wasn't cutting it in the winter. I'm a massage therapist and I have the worst time finding a foundation that isn't so thick that it slides right off my face when I start sweating at work, but at the same time has enough coverage that I look halfway professional. That and finding one that actually matches my skin tone is usually a nightmare in itself! I have this in Blush Ivory. I really love that this product conceals and blends in perfectly to my skin at the same time without looking thick. I don't even feel it when I wear it.

i love rich sienna, i have dry skin and i thought it would be too much to put on in the morning, but i have it next to my moisturizer and sponge will buy the primer! i may give up my regular trendy brand! i am going to try all her products...

I am oily in the t zone and was hesitant to buy this product, but I'm so glad I did. It does not make my face extra oily. It has the best coverage and makes my face look very smooth. I honestly don't get Botox anymore because this foundation takes off at least 5 years. The jar lasts forever and you don't even need concealer... a very good value. My ONLY complaint is that the packaging is not travel friendly. This product truly defines the word FLAWLESS!!!

I've struggled so long to find a foundation that looks and feels good on my face and I have finally found it. It feels so good on my skin and I get so many compliments on it. It fits my very light skin tone perfectly. My skin is very dry and soon after I put on other foundations, my skin can soak it in or crack the foundation, but this creme foundation keeps my skin so moisturized and stays crack-free. The creme smooth foundation has really saved my skin from feeling dry during the day and looks so incredibly flawless until I take it off. I recommend this to anyone struggling with dry skin. I apply it with a flat brush, buff it in with a thick, fluffy brush, and leave it unpowdered.

I have go agree with a previous poster regarding shades of LM foundation for us fair-skinned gals. I use the porcelain ivory, which is too light for me, because the blush ivory is way too pink and the warm ivory is too dark. I just use the porcelain ivory in moderation so that my face isn't visibly lighter than my neck. I, too, wish LM would come out with a shade a little darker than porcelain ivory, but not as pink as blush ivory or as tan as warm ivory. I did find out the secret to getting this foundation to go on smoothly - I use the hydrating foundation primer. It really helps the foundation glide on smoothly. This formula provides nice coverage of my rosacea.

I only wish she would make a shade between the blushed ivory and the warm ivory. The blushed is too pink and the warm is too dark for my fair warm skin. Otherwise, this is a lovely product and has great coverage.

This product covers like no other, and I needed major coverage as a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding. I detest wearing make-up that actually feels like make-up, and despite the coverage I achieved with the creme smooth foundation, I felt nothing but confident and relieved (oh, thank you Laura!) on the day of the wedding. You don't get a lot of product for the money, but you don't need very much. I applied it with a foundation brush and was impressed by how far the foundation went and how mess-free it was.

I wanted to get a foundation to get that flawless look as my skin started showing brown spots, discoloration, pigmentation after pregnancy.I was loving the hydrating primer already, so I asked for recommendations on laura mercier.com and I found this miracle foundation! I have been using it for 2 years now and it gives me a flawless look in the true sense of the word. People have started asking me about my youthful look and my new makeup product and I brag about Laura Mercier. The other foundations I tried, either got my skin drier or it would get eaten up by my skin in an hour or so. This foundation works so well as its both hydrating and it conceals really well also. I have FINALLY found the foundation of my dreams! I really mean it.

I recently bought this product from a Laura Mercier store in Myers. I described to the saleswoman what I wanted in a product which is coverage (I have melanin on my face) and to accentuate my pale, very fair skin. She tried this product, and I couldn't decide whether I liked it or not. Convinced I could use it easily (after some pep-talk from the saleswoman) I bought it. Once I got it home, I tried to use it, discovering that the product is extremely messy and just blotches on your face, or is very strenuous if you want to use a wedge, which takes about an hour to make it perfect. For someone with freckles, the product offers very little coverage and fills in fine lines, making them more noticable than unnoticable. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who didn't have a perfect natural complexion. Having said this, if you use the wedge and take up all your day applying it, it is perfect for dry skin and goes on very evenly, making your skin feel soft and like you are wearing no foundation.

Nothing will ever be perfect, but this is close. A tiny bit covers whole face and is truly flawless. Looks radiant, covers almost everything, and still does not look heavily "made-up". Very long lasting, and so far no end-of-day meltdown or shine (although it's not too hot or humid yet). I find this very easy to apply and blend. I also think that the quantity of product for the price is well worth it. Love it!!!

This foundation range is the finest YOU have ever made.
First, let me say that I am glad that YOU made a full color range for this foundation line. Being in Asia, I deal with men and women of color everyday. and it is a blessing to have the colors I need.

I believe that this foundation line is highly pigmented, which means that you only need to use a little of the product to even your skin tone. I prefer to spread it with my fingers because I don't want to waste this product by leaving some of it on a brush or on a sponge. Remember that the warming caused by the rubbing your your fingers helps in setting the foundation; it aids in blending too.
This product is very easy to apply, to blend and to set. Whoever said it's difficult to use either lied or is lazy! A little effort in doing your makeup goes a long way.
I also like the fact that this foundation line is equipped with DERMAXYL. This means that this foundation helps repair your cells and it creates a barrier against UV damage while hydrating your skin! Plus it keeps wrinkles at bay! i believe, it is because of this ingredient that makes this foundation a bit more expensive from her other foundation lines.
Never the less, this foundation is worth every penny.
It leaves you with a smooth radiant finish.. absolutely flawless!

I have extremely dry, flakey skin and this foundation has been the best I have ever found to address this issue. It is extremely moisturizing. I can see where people with oily skin wouldn't find this appropriate. I have light, very yellow toned skin and the Warm Ivory is a perfect match. Not a hint of pink in this shade, and it does not oxidize and turn orange or too dark, which is perfect. I apply with a damp sponge and the coverage I get is medium to full. It covers hyperpigmentation areas pretty well but I still need a tad of concealer. Sometimes I use a primer, and sometimes I do not, and I find either way to turn out nice. The price is high, but I feel foundation is the one thing you just can't skimp by on.

I bought the Vanilla Beige and when I opened the lid thought it was going to be way too dark but it matches my skin tone exactly. I apply with a damp sponge and it has a lovely, smooth, natural finish. I have never purchased a LM product that I don't like. This one is a little pricey but a little goes a long way.

I believe I have purchased every foundation available , from the very highest end to the not so high, in pursuit of the perfect one. I believe I have finally found it. I am over 54 so I needed something suitable for my skin. I wanted coverage, but I didn't it to look unnatural and I certainly didn't want anything that made me look older. This foundation is so natural looking and feels like a second skin. It is lightweight and spreads so beautifully. You can adjust the coverage, and it lasts all day. Sometimes, when I am in a hurry, I don't put the primer on and it still blends as easily as if I did. No need for any powder--which isn't good for me anyway. My creme blush blends in beautifully. I can't say enough good things about this foundation. I have been waiting for something like for a long time and it has arrived. Obviously finding the right color is important--the first color I selected was the color chosen for me by a consultant when I first started using LM--my skin pigmentation changed so I had to return it for the lighter shade. I am very happy with this foundation and recommend it for aging skin.

Words cannot express how much I LOVE this foundation! I have used a lot of the top brands, and love Laura Mercier's products, but this foundation out shines EVERYTHING! I am 46, so I have to be really careful as to the foundation I apply. I have rosacea, which requires a heavier coverage to conceal the redness, but I don't want the look of a heavy coverage foundation. My skin also tends to be drier. This foundation looks heavy, but it's not, and a little bit goes a long way. I use the Laura Mercier primer under it, and it glides on, and does exactly what she promises! It feels amazing, looks amazing, and I keep looking in the mirror and cannot believe how truly flawless my skin looks and how great it feels all day. My skin looks and feels fresh, young, and dewy. Thank you Laura! Beautiful makeup begins with flawless looking skin, and now I have it!

I have used silk creme foundations for years and didn't think any foundation could top it. Boy, was I wrong! The creme smooth foundation is the best product I have ever used. It reduces redness, hides lines and imperfections, and glides on my skin. The rep was right though....you do need to use the primer and a little does go a long way.

I got a sample of this from my local dept. store. When testing it in the store, I mentioned it seemed difficult to spread and the sales girl said to be sure to spread it quickly; a little went a long way & to be sure to use my primer. (I have the hydrating primer)
I did all my morning preps per usual including the primer. Laura's hydrating primer usually makes my foundation glide on and look flawless. This foundation felt like "putty" I found it very hard to spread it evenly. I am not impressed with the final look. If I had been going out today, I would have washed it off and started over using my other foundation.
I am glad I was able to try it before buying. My favorite Laura foundation is the one in the tube but I can't find a good shade for me. (I need a pink under tone )

I LOVE this foundation. it covers, last ALL day, & it gose on so smooth. At age 53 when a foundation covers it normally looks dry, NOT THIS FOUNDATION. I only hope Laura brings back the lip colors Sweet Dreams & Pink Potion, and the lip gloss Fairy Dust & Candlelight. The lip stick & lip gloss are the only two items that buy from another line.
