Attributes: leaves skin clean yet soft
I really love this cleanser for my dry, sensitive skin. I would have given my review 5 stars had the packaging been better. I have a ring on my bathroom sink from the oil leaking all over the place, and the bottle is all slippery from the oil splashing everywhere when I put the cap back on. It's too bad. I'm thinking of buying a soap pump to put this in so that I can continue to use the product without the mess.

Love the product and have been using for 2 years, however, the new bottle design leaks ~ a lot! Wasting some very expensive cleanser.
Travel is even worse. Will not be buying anymore if they do not come out with a travel friendly package that doesn't leak.

I was excited to try this product as I use Laura Mercier foundation and Face Polish and love them. I was disappointed when it did not take all of my make up off. The first night I used this I followed with a toner and there was still a lot of make up on my face. I had to cleanse again. The next night I thought I had just not followed the directions correctly so I was very diligent when cleansing. It was maybe a little better but when using my toner, there was still make up coming off of my face. I love that this is fragrance free and love that it made my skin feel soft but it does remove my make up. I'm so disappointed.

I love the oil cleanser because it does remove all traces of my makeup and leaves my skin soft and comfortable...however I very much dislike the packaging. Anyway I turn the bottle, the oil leaks out so I am losing more product and for the price I wish it would not leak so much or maybe be reformulated. I too travel a lot and the oil leaks in my bags,

I love this product. However, I do not like the new packaging. When the bottle is turned on its side, or upside down the product leaks out of the pump at the top. (At least mine does, maybe i have a defective pump?) I travel a lot, and this is a big deal. I have ranked the value low here, because the leaks make me have to purchase more often.

So it might seem counter-intuitive to cleanse with oil. However, it's absolutely amazing. My skin is incredibly soft and smooth. I have super sensitive skin (another line's cleansing oil totally broke me out...way too much rose scent for me!) and my skins never been calmer and brighter! I use this cleanser at night, and in the morning alternate between the face polish and the one step cleanser. Also, treat yourself and get the hydrating water mist. Truly it's worth it, your skin will thank you within 10 days!
(Also on the oil clean up note...not to compare this with your skin, but just as food for thought...how do they clean up oil spills in the oceans? they use oil, it breaks down other oils!)

This cleanser does an excellent job cleansing without stripping the skin. It clears of every trace of makeup and leaves skin moist. It's a great product, especially for the winter but hasn't caused my skin to get too oily for summer either. It's fantastic!

It sounded counterintuitive to use oil to clean but it really works. It is smooth, gentle, and effective. I love the fact that I can also give myself a mini face massage.

I have dry sensitive skin and have tried almost every every face wash out there for my skin type. They are either too gentle and don't remove make-up completely, or they are too harsh resulting in tight irritated skin. This cleansing oil is amazing. It cleanses while leaving the skin fresh, clean and not tight at all. I will use this product forever.

I was looking for a cleanser for my somewhat sensitive skin, and found this in a Mercier Master Class. It was much different to use at home! It is outrageously expensive, but my face hasn't felt this good after cleansing in years. No oily residue, but requires a gentle toner of some kind to get completely off.

I have naturally oily skin and I was afraid this product would make me break out, but it has left my skin SO soft and smooth. It's amazing how easily my makeup comes off with this product. My only complaint is that it is so thin I end up spilling a lot of it. I wish it was a little more serum-like to avoid this problem.

I was a little put off having to apply this product with my fingers as it is very thin...it's EXPENSIVE and you don't want to waste it. It DOES do a wonderful job of removing makeup though and has no noticable odor. It really did leave my skin baby-soft (but not at all greasy). I love it, but wish it didn't COST so much...
